LaLSA and CLS Believe Survivors

In light of the events surrounding Judge Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court and multiple women coming forward with their stories of sexual assault, LaLSA, and other organizations, joined a solidarity action on Thursday, September 27th, 2018.

September 28, 2018

Sexual misconduct, harassment, and assault are not political issues, and continue to affect people of all backgrounds, including members of our CLS community.

CLS students and community members were invited to stop by JG Lobby to sign EWOC's banner with a message of solidarity, support, and concern for Dr. Ford and other women or to share their own #WhyIDidntReport or #MeToo story.

After signing EWOC's banner, we gathered at Revson Plaza to join in reflection before the town hall hosted by CLS faculty. LaLSA members were encouraged to wear black.
