Join CLS LaLSA!

Columbia Law School Latinx Law Students Association welcomes all Columbia Law School students of all backgrounds to participate in our group! Some benefits of a LaLSA membership include:

  • LaLSA Events - Exclusive access to all of our events, including outlining workshops and practice interview programs to help you succeed during your first year at CLS. We also host social events such as happy hours, mixers, and dinners throughout the year.
  • LaLSA Latest - Weekly email updates regarding off-campus and on-campus events and other career opportunities. This includes firm receptions, fellowship opportunities, and public/private interest employment opportunities for your first summer of law school.
  • Outline Drive - Get access to our outline drive.
  • LaLSA Library - Get access to our LaLSA library where you can borrow hornbooks, flashcards, and other supplements.
  • Networking - In the spring, LaLSA has members-only 1L dinners/lunches with top New York law firms that have in the past included Cleary Gottlieb, Cravath, Skadden, Paul Weiss, Debevoise & Plimpton, and Gibson Dunn.
  • LaLSA Banquet and LaLSA Retreat – These are two of the most popular events of the year. LaLSA members get priority and discounted tickets.

Pay Dues!

To join:

  1. Download the Venmo App on your smart phone.*
  2. Decide on a membership fee:
    • $15.00 for 1 year
    • $40.00 for 3 years
  3. Pay dues to @CLS_LaLSA on Venmo. Please include your First and Last Name, UNI, and Class Year (1L, 2L, 3L, or LLM) in the Venmo subject line.
