Ezra Spiro is a 3L from Tucson, Arizona, though he has been competing from his apartment here in New York City.
Over the course of the competition, Ezra has argued for both parties: first on behalf of Government in the qualifying round; and then for the relator, Tanya Moore, in the semifinal round.
We asked Ezra a few questions about his experience competing in the Stone Moot Court Competition this year. Here are his responses:
Stone Director: Why did you choose to participate in the Stone Moot Court Competition?
Spiro: I'm going to be a litigator and thought it would make for great experience.
Stone Director: What can be seen in your Zoom box or background during oral arguments?
Spiro: My bookshelf (to show I own books!) and some art posters (to show I've been to a museum!).
Stone Director: What was the first thing you did after your last oral argument during the Qualifying Round?
Spiro: Thought to myself: "That was fun but I probably won't be doing it again."
