Nicolás N. Rodríguez

Nico Rodriguez graduated from Austin College in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and Southwestern and Mexican Studies. As a 1L, Nico represented Columbia at the UC Davis Asylum & Refugee Law Moot Court competition, where he won first place in Oral Advocacy. He treasures his time with the moot court team, and found it to be the most memorable part of his 1L year because of the friends he made on the team. Nico spent his 1L summer as a judicial intern for Judge Mazzant of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. In addition to being a coach for the LaLSA moot court, Nico is a staff member on the Columbia Law Review and the Admissions Chair for LaLSA. He enjoys exploring NYC and trying out new restaurants.
