Mario Reyes-Solano

Mario Reyes Solano ‘25, grew up in Dallas, TX but was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. Mario graduated from Texas Tech University in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. At Texas Tech, Mario led mock trial teams to competitions, served as the treasury chair to multiple organizations, worked as a Community Advisor, and had the opportunity to work at different law firms on issues ranging from personal injury to immigration law. During his time at the immigration firm Mario developed a passion for helping immigrants secure legal rights in the U.S. After graduating, Mario worked as a Staff Accountant for different companies. At Columbia, Mario is interested in further exploring his passion in immigration law while also being open to other areas of the law that affect minorities. On his free time, Mario enjoys running and hanging out with his wife and two pugs.
