Marielle comes to law school after having served as a United States Fulbright Scholar along the Mexico-Guatemala border. During college she worked at the ACLU in its Immigrants' Rights Project, and wrote her undergraduate thesis on credible fear interviews in expedited removal proceedings for gender-based violence asylum seekers. Beyond immigration, she is passionate about her mom's pozole recipe and dogs.
