Kayla Jahangiri

Kayla was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a B.A. in Global Studies, and a minor in Global Health. During her time in undergrad, she focused on issues of advocacy and international politics. Her senior thesis analyzed grassroots advocacy on college campuses as it relates to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Prior to law school, she has worked with advocacy groups, emphasizing the importance of diversity and dialogue in political spaces. She has traveled extensively with her non-profit, Participate to Educate, which provides school supplies to children in impoverished communities. Her main interests are centered around human rights, specifically education, refugees, and maternal health.
