Samuel Pittman

Samuel Luis Pittman ‘25 was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.  He is a 2021 graduate of Georgia State University where he earned a B.A. in Philosophy.  During his undergraduate studies, Samuel worked as a mentor guide for the Georgia State Latino Leadership Initiative assisting underrepresented students with college applications.  Samuel also worked with the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials to increase civic engagement in the state.  After graduation, Samuel worked as a legal assistant at an Atlanta area law firm while volunteering as an instructor in the English for Speakers of Other Languages program at St. Bede’s Episcopal.  This past summer, Samuel was an SEO Law Fellow at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.  At Columbia Law School, Samuel is involved with Outlaws and the Columbia Business Law Association.  In his free time, Samuel enjoys playing tennis and exploring New York City.
