Gabrielle Stanfield

Gabrielle was born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2019 with a B.A. in Art History and Foreign Affairs. She credits her undergraduate research on Black art as a primary inspiration for pursuing legal study given the prominent connection between visual media and social justice as a catalyst for legal advocacy. Upon graduation, Gabrielle joined Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as a litigation paralegal in their DC office. Through this role, she gained valuable exposure to legal work primarily focused in antitrust litigation, though the opportunity to assist with two major trials and to participate in the firm’s pro bono practice were highlights of this experience. She looks forward to exploring several areas of interest at CLS including corporate litigation, immigration law, post-conviction advocacy, and entertainment law. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, visiting art museums, and cooking.
