Gabriela Flores-Romo

Gabriela Flores-Romo was born in Ecuador and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Boston College in 2017 with a B.A. in Political Science, B.A. in International Studies and minor in Ethics and International Social Justice. After graduation, Gabi worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP as a corporate paralegal with a brief secondment at KKR & Co. Inc. At Cleary, she focused mostly on capital markets and mergers and acquisitons transactions and pro bono work on sex trafficking clinics, naturalization clinics and ICE detainee bond projects. She believes in balancing transactional work with work on causes that are close and personal to one's heart. This past summer, she was an SEO Law Fellow at Clifford Chance US LLP where she was exposed to capital markets and derivatives transactional work. Gabi loves running, trying new cuisines, watching tv, aimlessly walking around NYC and trying to discover little cafes around Columbia!
