Liza Arias

Liza Arias '24 is originally from Silver Spring, MD. She graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. After graduation, Arias spent a year in Taiwan teaching English and studying Mandarin Chinese as a Fulbright fellow. Following her time abroad, she was awarded a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace fellowship to work on nuclear security at D.C. think tank. Informed by her work on national security issues, Arias then spent two years at an intellectual property law firm which confirmed her desire to pursue a J.D. Arias is primarily interested in appellate litigation and national security law. In her spare time she can be found attempting to meet her yearly reading goal, catching up on Grey's Anatomy, and exploring NYC.
