Anthony Mejia

Anthony grew up in Modesto, California and graduated from Santa Clara University in 2020 with a B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy with Pre-Law Emphasis. During his time in college, Anthony worked for the Stanislaus County Public Defender's Office in his hometown which solidified his interest in pursuing a career in the intersection of immigration and criminal defense. After graduation he worked with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps at a non-profit in Chicago serving the immigrant community then with Catholic Charities of Washington DC working in their immigration law department.  At CLS Anthony is a Public Interest/Public Service Fellow and involved on the boards of the Society for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and LaLSA. Anthony is the first member of his family to attend college and law school and in his spare time enjoys cooking and playing sports.
