Allie Rutter graduated from Fordham University in 2019 with a B.A. in Cultural Studies and a double minor in Psychology and Classical Civilization. As a 1L, Allie represented Columbia at the UC Davis Asylum & Refugee Law Moot Court competition, where she won first place in Oral Advocacy. Allie spent her 1L summer in the Special Federal Litigation Division at the New York City Law Department, where she worked on complex §1983 litigation against the city. In addition to being an editor for the LaLSA moot court, Allie is a staffer on the Journal of European Law and serves as an RA for Professor Elizabeth Scott. She enjoys fitness, spending time with her cat Apollo, and listening to Crime Junkie.
