Adrián Nava

Adrián Nava '24 is originally from Aurora, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. in International Studies. After graduation, Adrián worked in Colorado, leading statewide voter registration campaigns for first-time voters and young people of color. Then, he moved to New York to work as a paralegal for the ACLU's LGBTQ & HIV Project, where he contributed to federal litigation protecting and expanding LGBTQ people's rights. Adrián is interested in various topics, including asylum and refugee rights, expanding and protecting LGBTQ rights, and centering people of color and working-class people in his work. At Columbia Law, he is a staff editor for the Journal of Race & Law and is a 1L Advocate with the Human Rights Institute. Outside of school, Adrián likes to cook and watches a lot of garbage television.
