Joanna Diane Caytas

Joanna Caytas is the president of the Columbia European Law Association. She is also co-president of the Columbia Urban and Real Estate Law Society, Faculty Network & Events Chair of the Columbia Society of International Law, Communications Co-Chair of the Columbia International Arbitration Association, Board Member and Webmaster of the Environmental Law Society, a peer mentor, a staff member of the Columbia Journal of European Law, and research assistant to Professor Anu Bradford on international antitrust. During her 1L summer, Joanna interned for The Hon. Beryl A. Howell, U.S.D.J., at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to Columbia Law School, she received an F. A. von Hayek Fellowship that she spent as a visiting researcher in Zurich, London, and New York. Earlier, she worked for a Swedish biotech start-up and for a Swiss management consulting firm. Joanna received the Richard Paul Richman Leadership Fellowship in 2014.

Joanna holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Columbia University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Nanotechnology from the University of Oxford.
