Hyun Young Kim

Hyun Young (H.Y.) Kim comes from Seoul, Korea, but has traveled extensively around the world, and is especially fond of Europe. After graduating from Columbia College, she spent a year at the University of Cambridge, UK, pursuing a master’s degree in Linguistics. During her first year at Columbia Law School, HY participated as a member of Columbia’s European Law Moot Court, where she was exposed to the European Legal System. She, along with her teammates, had the wonderful opportunity to compete in the Regional Finals in Prague, where she argued as a representative of the Defendants on an issue of competition law. HY hopes to practice law in both Europe and the U.S. upon graduation from Columbia.
