Join the Columbia Society of International Law for lunch next Wednesday, 9/20 in JG 102B to meet the board members, learn about our organization, and learn how you can get involved. The Columbia Society of International Law (CSIL) is Columbia Law School’s principal student group dedicated to issues involving international law. The Society informs its members about opportunities to practice international law and current issues in international law; provides members in-person access to many of the top international firms; allows members the opportunity to meet leading scholars in the field; offers guidance and advice on career paths in the fields of public and private international law; and provides opportunities for American and international law students and alumni to form connections with each other that span the globe after graduation from Columbia Law School. We will also discuss the various benefits and opportunities exclusive to CSIL members.
If you are at all interested in applying for a board position with CSIL this year (1Ls, transfers, and LLMs welcome!) we strongly encourage you to attend. This meeting is a great opportunity to learn about the various positions to which you can apply, and what they entail. Board applications will be released following this meeting.
