Join Dr. Diego Acosta as he shares his ongoing research on the construction of a South American Citizenship in the region, both at the level of UNASUR and MERCOSUR. Dr. Acosta is an Emile Noel visiting fellow at NYU and a Senior Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Bristol.

Professor Alexander Aleinikoff, the discussant for the event, is a leading scholar in immigration and refugee law. From 2010 to 2015, he served as the United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva. Professor Aleinikoff is currently on assignment with the U.N. Secretariat in New York.

Dino BBQ and vegetarian sandwiches will be served.
