Schedule
Classes are held each Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM. On days with guest speakers (listed below), lunch will be provided from 12 PM to 1 PM and the speaker session will be held from 1 PM to 2 PM.

Details on Guest Speakers:
- College Day: HSLI students are invited to Columbia Law School for College Day, a panel discussion to discuss and demystify the college process. This year, College Day will feature a panel discussion with Chris Quach, Senior Associate Director and the Director of International Recruitment in Undergraduate Admissions at Columbia University.
- Inside the Federal Courts: HSLI hosts the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco to speak with HSLI students. He is a current judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, former judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and former assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York. In addition, Judge Bianco is an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School.
- Federal Prosecutors Panel: HSLI hosts a Q&A panel with three SDNY prosecutors.
- Emily Johnson is a 2003 graduate of the University of Chicago and a 2011 graduate of Fordham Law School. Emily clerked for the Honorable Cathy Seibel, United States District Judge (S.D.N.Y.) and worked at Debevoise for 7 years before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Emily is currently a member of the Office’s Civil Rights and Human Trafficking Unit.
- Cam Molis is a 2016 graduate of Columbia University and a 2021 graduate of Columbia Law School. Cam worked at Sullivan & Cromwell for three years before he clerked for the Honorable Colleen McMahon, United States District Judge (S.D.N.Y.). Cam joined the U.S. Attorney’s office in November 2025 and is currently a member of the Office’s General Crimes Unit.
- Christy Slavik is a 2005 graduate of Boston College and a 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Richard J. Sullivan, United States District Judge (S.D.N.Y.), and the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell, United States Circuit Judge (3d Cir.). Christy worked at Akin Gump for 6 years before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Christy is currently a member of the Office’s Civil Rights and Human Trafficking Unit.
- Graduation: On the final day of the program, HSLI hosts a capstone event involving moot court competitions with law students presiding, followed by a formal ceremony with awards and presentations that parents are invited to attend.
