Jenny Zhou a 2L from Cupertino, California. She has also lived abroad in Shanghai, China for 6 years, attending an international school in middle and high school before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Emory University. She graduated undergrad in 2017 with a joint degree in English & Creative Writing, and then spent two years working in the law and tech industry in Atlanta before moving to New York to pursue a 3-year JD/MBA joint degree at Columbia Law School and Columbia Business School. Jenny spent her 1L (remote) summer at Baker McKenzie as a Summer Associate, working on a Covid-19 EvictionLab.org pro bono project with Professor Benfer, and case prepping for MBB recruiting. When she is not working or studying, she loves to karaoke, ice skate, enjoy omakase, watch Grey’s Anatomy and SVU, and window shop for real estate she cannot yet afford.
