Drew Brazer

Drew Brazer is a 2L originally from Simsbury, CT. He is passionate about protecting civil rights, as well as transforming our punitive criminal justice system and dysfunctional political processes. He received his B.A. in political science from Princeton University, where he wrote his thesis on the Bill of Rights. Prior to law school, Drew worked in Washington, D.C. as the government relations manager for Blue Star Families—a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting military and veteran families. At CLS, Drew is a Public Interest/Public Service fellow, and serves as a staff editor for the Journal of Law & Social Problems. Drew spent the summer after 1L working for the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Tennessee. In his free time, Drew enjoys running, reading, and playing the drums.
