On November 11, 2020, ACLU co-sponsored an event hosted by Columbia Law School's Environmental Law Society and Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and Yale Law School's Environmental Law Association and Animal Law Society. The event featured a moderated discussion with Yale Professor Marianne Engelman-Lado about her experience litigating civil rights violations in the permitting process for factory farms.
