Nicole Castillo ’22 serves as President of LaLSA. She graduated in 2017 with a B.A. in Government and Middle Eastern & North African Studies. After graduation, Nicole served as a Fulbright ETA in Morocco and continued working as an educator in New Jersey upon her return. She spent her 1L summer at the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office in Memphis, TN. On campus, Nicole is a coach for LaLSA’s Asylum & Refugee Moot Court, staff member of the Columbia Law Review, peer mentor, and member of EWOC. In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing violin and attempting to learn a fourth language.
