Ariana Mercado serves as the LaLSA Banquet Co-Chair. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Government and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. After college, Ariana worked in D.C. for a few years as a paralegal at Skadden Arps and Schagrin Associates focusing on trade remedy lititgation for American producer clients. The summer before law school she decided to spend the whole summer lying on a beach in Ecuador with her cousins. Ariana spent her 1L summer as a summer law clerk for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. At CLS, she was a 1L Conference and Gala Rep for EWOC and she is now participating in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. Ariana loves trying new restaurants in the city and salsa dancing (anywhere from the village clubs to her kitchen!).
