Born across the street, Katia Bogomolova has spent an alarming amount of time at Columbia University. Ms. Bogomolova graduated cum laude from Columbia College/Columbia University in 2019 with a degree in Political Science and Hispanic Studies. She started at CLS just six months later, retaining her involvement with the Columbia Center for the Study of Ethnicity & Race. As a 1L, Ms. Bogomolova participated in the UC Davis Asylum & Refugee Law Moot Court. She then spent her 1L Summer at the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights. At Columbia, Ms. Bogomolova is a Student Editor for the Foundational Moot Court Program, a Law Revue Music Director, a Preceptor for Professor Bobbitt's Legal Methods and Terror & Consent classes, and of course, CLWA’s Myra Bradwell co-chair and Social Media Chair.
As an undergraduate, Ms. Bogomolova was a Summer paralegal at Harris, St. Laurent & Chaudhry, where she assisted trial counsel with commercial and white collar crime litigation. Prior to CLS, she ran an independent branding consulting agency, advising businesses in the healthcare, restaurant, energy and manufacturing spaces.
