Originally from Athens, Greece, Iris Aikaterini Frangou is a 1L at Columbia Law School. Ms. Frangou graduated from Columbia College/Columbia University with a major in Political Science in 2019. Her thesis, a cleavage-based approach to National Party Positioning in the European Union, earned her Graduating Honors and a membership to Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. As an undergraduate, Ms. Frangou also established Columbia’s United Nations Association Chapter and served as the Lead Web Editor of Columbia’s Political Review. Before law school, Ms. Frangou worked as a legal assistant in Mergers & Acquisitions at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.
