What is international arbitration and what kind of work does it entail? Join CIAA via Zoom on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 3:30PM ET to learn about international arbitration from the perspectives of a summer associate and junior attorney. This event will also provide advice for students who want to tailor their EIP process specifically towards targeting international arbitration practices, as well as general tips.

Our panelists are: 

Dominique Jones, law clerk in the Litigation Department at Debevoise.

Ms. Jones joined Debevoise in 2021. Ms. Jones received a J.D. from Columbia Law School where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, received the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law, and acted as the student Editor-in-Chief of the American Review of International Arbitration. She received a B.A. from Columbia University in 2016. 

Nicholas Romanoff, Incoming Associate at Skadden Arps, New York. Nick, a native of New York City who studied Political Science in college at the University of Chicago, is currently a 3L at the Law School. During his time at CLS, Nick has served as a Student Editor for Williams Moot Court and as OutLaws’ Co-Chair for Firm Relations, and his Note was recently published in the Human Rights Law Review. After working with the International Arbitration and Litigation Group at Skadden Arps as a 1L Scholar, a 2L Law Clerk, and a Summer Associate, Nick looks forward to rejoining the Group full-time in September 2022.
