Claire Ren

Hi everyone! I’m a 2L and one of the Social Chairs. I grew up in Paris, France and graduated from UChicago in 2019 where I studied public policy and human rights. Before law school, I worked for two years as a paralegal at a firm in Paris doing anti-corruption work. This summer, I interned at the International Rescue Committee. In addition to APALSA, I am also Director of Social Programming for the Gastronomy Society, Treasurer for the Taiwanese Law and Culture Club, and a Staff Editor on the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. In my free time, I enjoy baking, exploring the city, and going to karaoke with friends.
